We collect information to provide better services to our users and event organizers. This includes:

Account Details: Email addresses and user profile names registered when signing up or subscribing.
Ticket Purchases & Reservations: Guest names, email addresses, phone numbers, and reservation details when booking spots.
Organizers Details: Verification records, event titles, ticket quotas, and financial withdrawal preferences (payout mobile numbers and networks).

2. Payouts and Payment Gateway Integration

To enable ticketing commerce and payouts, EventHub integrates with Lenco Payment Gateway. In this context:

We collect mobile money phone numbers and operator carrier networks (Airtel, MTN, Zamtel) to initiate secure payout transfers.
We process registered mobile money account holder names directly from network operators via Lenco's APIs to prevent fraud.
We do not store raw authorization keys or direct credentials on our database servers. All transactions are securely processed via Lenco's encrypted inline SDKs and APIs.

Note on Gateway Fees: Each withdrawal request includes a fixed gateway fee of K 8.50. This charge is deducted from your available balance, and you must hold a balance greater than or equal to the requested payout amount plus the fee to successfully execute withdrawals.

3. Cookies and Trackers

Our website utilizes secure local cookies and storage elements to persist guest sessions, handle security authorization codes (OTPs), and remember dashboard filters. We do not track you across third-party websites or sell user profiles to advertising companies.

4. Data Security

We apply industrial best practices to safeguard your information:

All communications are encrypted using secure Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).
Security codes (OTPs) generated for withdrawals expire automatically after 10 minutes and are verified using cryptographic signatures.
Ledger entry audits and retry controls protect merchant wallets from duplicate payouts and transaction collisions.
